Quote and order
Submit the server model, power draw, U height, CPU/RAM/disk/PSU notes, carrier, and ETA. Helixrack replies within 24 hours with a monthly estimate and intake instructions.
Four steps
Helixrack turns self-owned hardware into hosted infrastructure without asking you to become a facility operator.
Process
You send specs first. We price it, receive it, inspect it, rack it, burn it in, and hand over credentials once the box is online.
$ ssh [email protected]
IPMI: delivered
IPv6: /64 assigned
IPv4 /29: optional
Remote hands: 8am-10pm ET
Submit the server model, power draw, U height, CPU/RAM/disk/PSU notes, carrier, and ETA. Helixrack replies within 24 hours with a monthly estimate and intake instructions.
After approval, you get the confirmed receiving dock, dock hours, and a PDF intake form. Confirmation photo is sent within 2 hours of delivery.
Within 48 hours, the server is racked, powered, connected, and put through a 4-hour burn-in covering CPU, memory, disk, PSU behavior, and management access.
You receive IPMI credentials, a /64 IPv6 block, optional IPv4 /29, switch port details, and remote hands terms. Billing starts when the server goes live.
Chen checks physical damage, loose RAM, expansion cards, drive count, PSU compatibility, and POST before the first invoice.
Rack, power, bandwidth, and IPMI are free for the first 30 days. If the machine is not a fit, ship it back at your cost.
Power cycle, cable reseat, drive pull, visual check, and shipping prep are handled by the same small team that built the facility.
Checklist
We will catch obvious fit, power, and receiving problems before a carrier touches the box.
