Use the hardware you already trust.
Desktop towers, small lab systems, and secondhand machines can live somewhere better than a desk, closet, or garage shelf.
Invite only
Run an approved desktop or tower system outside the house for $4 per approved system per month. Power and network transfer are included during beta.
We review the exact hardware, expected load, network needs, and support boundary before issuing an invitation. The beta stays deliberately small so non-rack systems receive a workable placement.
Why it exists
The beta gives self-hosters a low-cost place to run hardware they own while Helixrack handles the reviewed physical environment around it.
Desktop towers, small lab systems, and secondhand machines can live somewhere better than a desk, closet, or garage shelf.
The $4 monthly beta rate covers one approved system, its power, and network transfer. You keep control of the operating system, applications, and data.
Invitations depend on physical fit, current capacity, workload risk, and support needs. “No beta caps” does not turn the shared port into dedicated capacity or override the Acceptable Use Policy.
Access
Use the secure path supplied with your invitation. If you cannot locate it or need account-recovery guidance, contact the operating team from the email address tied to your invitation.
Do not purchase or ship hardware based on this overview alone. Wait for written approval that identifies the system, receiving path, included work, applicable beta period, and any physical, power, cooling, or support boundary.
