Helixrack LLC operates an operator-led colocation facility for customer-owned hardware. We receive approved equipment by appointment, place it in controlled rack space, and document each power, network, and custody handoff.

Configured rail is a physical space count, not deployable capacity. Every placement still requires power, cooling, weight, network, and maintenance-fit review.
Capacity
Usable capacity is the set of positions where a specific chassis can be powered, cooled, connected, handled, and maintained within the current operating envelope.
That is why we ask for dimensions, weight, rails, airflow, expected and peak draw, power-supply configuration, network needs, and unusual service requirements before approving a shipment.

Approved standard-rack configurations can be provisioned up to 30 A at 208 V; the public rack-unit price does not automatically include that allocation. A 30 kVA double-conversion UPS and permanent 30 kW diesel generator support the protected load through an automatic transfer switch.
Five-ton and two-ton mini-split systems support the current operating area. The facility targets 68–74°F at the inlet and 40–55% relative humidity; these are operating targets, not workload or SLA guarantees.
Helixrack operates BGP over dedicated 1 Gbps upstream transit and assigns provider-independent IPv6. Standard customer plans use a shared 1 Gbps port; remote peering reaches DE-CIX New York through an upstream New Jersey access point rather than a direct cross-connect.
Controlled equipment areas use badge-controlled entry, continuously recording camera coverage, and scheduled, escorted visitor access. Physical work requires an identified machine, approved action, stop condition, and completion record.
Approved deliveries use a shipment reference and confirmed window. During receiving hours, the target is a condition photo and delivery acknowledgement within two staffed hours of carrier handoff.
Receiving & custody
We do not publish the street address or accept unapproved deliveries. Approved customers receive the current label, dock instructions, receiving window, and shipment reference in writing.
At arrival, the operator matches the reference, records visible condition, identifies the expected machine, and keeps it in the receiving and test path until the approved installation checks are complete.

Current power boundary
Approved rack loads normally use utility-fed facility distribution. The facility UPS provides stored-energy ride-through within its current rated condition and connected-load envelope.
A permanent 30 kW diesel generator supports the protected facility load through an automatic transfer switch. Commissioning records include an eight-second transfer test; that test is not an uptime guarantee.
The standard plan is one facility-side power feed unless the accepted quote states otherwise. Two server power supplies do not create an A/B service, and no public plan guarantees uninterrupted power.
Service boundary
Receiving, approved placement, facility power and cooling, facility-side network handoff, metering, and authorized physical work.
Hardware ownership, operating system, applications, credentials, access control, data, backups, and workload recovery.
The accepted quote and any approved work order define configuration-specific rates, limits, timing, and exceptions.
