Base rate
The position and facility service
The monthly base reserves the approved rack space and funds cooling, the documented protected-power path, the standard network handoff, facility monitoring, and operating records. It does not include the machine's measured energy or outbound transfer.
Power rate
Usage at the rack boundary
The $0.12/kWh rate applies to measured customer equipment use at the meter boundary stated in the quote. It is a customer usage rate, not a representation of Helixrack's utility cost or the full cost of the power and cooling plant.
Transfer rate
Outbound internet traffic
The $0.01/GB rate applies to traffic leaving the customer handoff for the public internet. Inbound internet traffic is not billed under the published model. One billing TB equals 1,000 GB.

Homelab Beta
Desktop and tower systems are $4 each per month during beta.
Power and network transfer are included for each approved system, with no beta bandwidth, throughput, or transfer caps. Shared capacity and the Acceptable Use Policy still apply. Homelab Beta is invite-only, and the written invitation confirms hardware fit, included work, billing start, beta review date, and any physical, power, cooling, or support boundary before shipment.

Current network terms
Port speed and internet transfer are different measurements.
The standard handoff is a shared 1 Gbps Ethernet port. The port rate is not a dedicated 1 Gbps transit commitment or a guarantee that every workload will sustain that throughput.
Customer firewalls, host configuration, remote-management exposure, and application security remain customer responsibilities. Custom routing, customer-provided address space, customer BGP sessions, cross-connects, or additional ports are not included in the published plans and require review.

- IPv4 /29 is subject to availability, technical fit, and the routing method stated in the quote.
- A /29 contains eight total addresses; the usable addresses depend on the documented network configuration.
- Outbound transfer is recorded in decimal gigabytes at the facility-side handoff.
- No public plan includes a committed throughput, latency, route, or uptime service level.
Billing
Stripe invoice, net 7
The first invoice is issued after the 30-day introductory period and is due seven days after issue. Your quote confirms the billing contact and first invoice date.
Metering
Monthly meter readings
Rack power and outbound transfer are read monthly. The accepted quote identifies the measurement sources and how each usage line appears on the invoice.
Contract
Month-to-month
No setup fee and no cancellation fee. Service is month-to-month; final metered use, authorized removal work, packing, and return shipping still apply.
Standard onboarding
Included when documented
Pre-ship review, one approved delivery intake, visible-condition recording, standard rack installation, and initial facility-side handoff are included when the quote identifies them as the standard deployment scope.
Remote hands
$35 per started 15 minutes
Routine remote hands during the 8:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. Eastern service window is billed in started 15-minute blocks unless a service order includes different treatment. We confirm the task and expected charge before non-emergency work begins.
Pass-through items
Approved before purchase
Parts, packing materials, carrier charges, insurance, and outside-hours work are quoted or approved before purchase. Taxes and customer-specific services appear in the accepted quote or invoice terms.
